Celem Fundacji jest pomoc materialna wdowom i dzieciom osieroconym przez policjantów, którzy zginęli w czasie pełnienia służby. Każda śmierć to tragedia osobista i materialna rodzin, które pozbawione zostały opieki, a często jedynych żywicieli. Sytuacja finansowa niektórych rodzin jest bardzo zła. Najczęściej giną młodzi wiekiem i stażem pracy policjanci.
Renta przysługująca rodzinie jest zbyt niska, aby zapewnić utrzymanie dla osieroconej rodziny.
